It is a stone of fairness and justice. It enhances responsibility, choice & compassion. It is stabilising and protective and helps to control passions, bringing physical strength, stamina & determination, while controlling aggression.

It is also thought to enhance dream recall, as well as to cleanse and strengthen the aura.

On a physical level it has been used to staunch wounds and increase fertility.
